Christmas 2009 (warning: LOTS of pictures)

We had an awesome Christmas!!!  We also enjoyed Christmas Eve dinner with Dan's parents and his brother's family.    Dan and I spent all night wrapping presents and getting the playroom all done.  The playroom makeover was a surprise for the kiddos, so we did most of the work after they went to bed that night.   The kids were so excited and loved opening presents.  Here are tons of pictures to show just that.  Oh, and if you want to see even MORE pictures of the playroom redo, check out my crafty blog.  We hope you all had a very merry Christmas too!!!

There were lots of costumes this year b/c of the costume dress-up corner in the new playroom.  I scored with a lot of fun costumes after halloween!

And they loved the snakes I made for them...yeah!

And the pirate ship was a hit too (that was found in my parent's crawl space and fixed up a bit)

After breakfast, we surprised them with the playroom redo.  I think they really like it!
 

Later we went to Dan's brother's house for dinner.  Grandma and Grandpa Loveridge spoiled the kids with even more gifts!!

It was a wonderful Christmas!!!  We reflected on the true meaning of Christmas and counted all the many blessing that we have.  Happy Holidays Everyone!!!

These kids are crazy cute!  Well, mostly CRAZY...uhh, I mean CUTE!!!

Snowed In!!!!

We are snowed in!!!  For real!!!  There is TONS of snow out there and it is near impossible to even walk out there, let alone drive!  Oh, and our neighborhood not being plowed yet doesn't help any (there have been several cars stuck in our neighborhood already).  We've been loving our snow day, here's what we've been up to:

*me not having to go to work...yippee!!!

*Dan's work party rescheduled...boo :(

*making yummy cinnamon rolls...yumm!!!  (oh, and eating them!)

*hanging out in our pj's till the afternoon (check out her static-y hair!)

*hung this cool mirror over our couch

*put some vinyl lettering up on the wall

*played in the snow

*ventured over to our neighbors for dinner and ping-pong

Oh...and church is already canceled for tomorrow, so we get another snow day!!!
