We went to Great Falls a few weeks ago when there was a day of beautiful weather. We had heard that the Potomac River was really high, so we thought the falls would be amazing. Well, they must have been amazing, but we wouldn't know b/c the path all the way out to the main part of the river was closed b/c of high rapids...bummer! But, we still saw some fun rushing water and the kids had a blast playing on all the large rocks.
