****WARNING**** This post contains potty talk!
So, Carson has been really good about going #1 on the potty for quite a while now. We started potty training him a couple months after he turned 2 and we have had many ups and downs, but for several months now, he has been pretty much completely reliable when it comes to #1. #2, on the other hand, is a COMPLETELY different story. We would know when he had to go and when we would ask him if he wanted to sit on the potty he would cry and cry. We tried all sorts of things to get him to go on the potty...trips to Chuck-E-Cheese, a "poopy box" full of prizes, etc. Nothing seamed to really work. We decided not to push it and just work on having him ask for a pull-up when he needed to go #2. I kept telling him that big boys go on the potty and he would be turning 3 soon and be a big boy. Well, apparently he liked that idea, b/c ever since his birthday (I know, it's only been a couple days, but I'll take it!) he's been going poopy on the potty. On his birthday he told me he was pooping and I said that was okay b/c he had a pull-up on and he said "no, i want to go on the potty"...and he did!!!! And he did again later, and FIVE times the next day, and today before nap!!! It's so weird, I don't know what changed about it, but now he will do it...and I'm not complaining!!! Yeah!!!!
