NINE Months!

Seriously baby girl...stop getting older!  I mean, I love to watch you grow, but I'm so sad to see the baby years going off into the distance.  I've never considered myself a "baby person", but I have really learned to appreciate the baby years.  Since I've been a mom now for 8 years, I realize just how quickly time goes by and how quickly you won't be a baby anymore.  I'm trying my best to enjoy every minute with you.  My favorite time of day with you is when I put you to bed at night.  I hold you in the dark room and rock you in the chair.  After you have finished your bottle, I let you lay your head on my shoulder.  This is the only time of the day that you actually relax and lay your head down.  I LOVE IT!  You usually fall asleep, but sometimes you pick your head up to look at me and smile.  My heart melts.  Sometimes I fall asleep holding you and then Daddy comes in to find me :)  I love our time together.  This week you learned how to clap your hands.  When I was putting you to bed last night you kept lifting your head off my shoulder so you could show me your new skill...clap, clap, clap.  It was so cute!  You are NINE months old now and cuter then ever!  You can army crawl all over now and find little scraps of food wherever you crawl to.  You eat all sorts of food now, not just what you find on the floor.  You babble all the time and love to clap.  You are still the favorite in the Loveridge house :)  Everybody just adores you!!!  I think I love you the most :)

Lincoln turns THREE!

Three years ago our little Lincoln joined our family.  He was such a sweet, sweet baby that has grown into a high energy, determined BIG three year old!  He is quite tall and people always mistake him for being much older than he really is.  He loves treats and will do just about anything to get one.  He is really good at climbing and coming up with ways to get what he wants.  He moves chairs all around the house, stacks boxes on chairs, climbs on anything just to get what he wants.  I'm hoping his strong determination will be good for him when he's older :) I just need to make sure he doesn't hurt himself before then!  Lincoln is a funny kid too!  He loves to make "potty" jokes and pick on his older siblings. He can be sweet at times, but usually prefers to be crazy!  He tries my patience a lot but also makes me laugh all the time!  I sure love that crazy Linc!!!
