Easter

We had a great Easter this year.  It was filled with a fun church Easter breakfast and egg hunt, extended family over for dinner and another egg hunt, egg dying, and Easter baskets.  We enjoyed the weekend reflecting on the real reason we celebrate Easter and enjoying all the festivities with the kiddos.  Here are some pictures!

King's Dominion!

We decided to try out King's Dominion over spring break.  We had a great time!  The first ride of the day ended with Lincoln getting a big glob of grease all over his jacket and face.  After waiting around for an hour, we were compensated for the grease and at the end of the day Carson picked out a super huge Dinosaur for free!  The kids loved the rides and even little Linc went on quite a few rides.  It was a great day!!  We love amusement parks!

 New This year, they have a cool Dinosaurs Alive part of the park.  It has life size dinosaurs that move and make sounds.  It was really cool...we all loved it!

Angry Peeps!

We made our first Peeps Diorama!  We made ANGRY PEEPS!  It was a lot of fun making it with the kids!

Great Wolf Lodge and OBX

We had the best time of President's day weekend!!!  We went with 4 other families to the Great Wolf Lodge and then down to the Outer Banks to our friend's parent's beachhouse.  It was a GREAT weekend!!!! 

The kids loved Great Wolf Lodge.  Even if they were too scared to go on any of the bigger waterslides.  They also loved their cute room at the lodge.  It had a little "kids cabin" complete with bunkbeds and a little window...so fun!

After a day at Great Wolf Lodge, we all headed down to the Outer Banks for a few days.  The kids all got along great and played all weekend.  All of us adults enjoyed spending time together watching movies, playing Just Dance, and talking, talking and more talking!  It was awesome!

Monster Jam!

Dan and Carson went to the Monster Jam!!  They went with my brother Ken and his son, Jake.  They all had a BLAST!!  Both Carson and Jake brought there little toy GraveDigger cars and loved seeing the real one!
