Photos courtesy of Grandpa

I love when my parents come to visit b/c it always means lots of pictures courtesy of my dad.  My dad is an awesome photographer!  He is rarely seen without a camera around his neck...seriously.  I can get rather annoyed or impatient taking pictures of my kids, so I love it when he comes and does it for me!  Thanks dad...you're great!  Here are a bunch of pictures he took while he was here.

Here are some spoooky pictures of Carson as the Grim Reaper!

Here are a bunch of cute shots of Bryn posing for grandpa.  After a few minutes of pictures, Brynlee said "Grandpa, I'm done now.  You can take pictures of the stairs."

Grandpa and Grandma came to watch Brynlee at dance class.  She is taking both Tap and Ballet this time around and loves it!  She has lots of friends in the class (a bunch of us from church put our girls in together), including our neighbor, Taylor (pictured below with Brynlee).

And a cute shot of little Lincoln.

Thanks for all the awesome pictures Grandpa Simmons!

Tummy Time!

Here's little Lincoln trying tummy time for the first time today.  He liked it!!!  He was very content...so much he started to fall asleep!  I just love this little boy!

Grandma & Grandpa Simmons

We love when family comes to visit!  This time is was Grandma and Grandpa Simmons!  They came down to help after we had the baby and they sure were a lot of help!  Just playing with the bigger kids is a HUGE help!  Carson and Brynlee absolutely loved playing with them.  Brynlee called grandpa her Best Friend and Carson loved playing games and reading books with grandma.  We wished they could've stayed longer!  Here are a ton of pictures from their stay with us.

Grandpa Simmons holding Lincoln

Grandma Simmons holding Lincoln wrapped in the blanket she made for him.

Grandpa jumped on the trampoline with the kiddos on the one semi-warm day of the week.

We did a little photo shoot with baby Lincoln.  Jen came over with some props and her and my dad took some pictures.  And I took some pictures of them taking pictures of Lincoln...there were a lot of cameras on him!

Grandpa playing barbies with Brynlee...and you wonder why he was her best friend!

Grandma reading them a story and using little stuffed fish to go along with the story.

We loved having grandma and grandpa Simmons here for a week...come again soon!!!

Sunday Photo Shoot

It seems we get some of our best pictures right before (or after!) church on Sundays.  I guess I always want to take pictures b/c we're all dressed up.  We took these pictures a few weeks ago.  This was Carson's first time wearing his new suit to church...and Dan is sporting a brand new suit too!  What handsome boys!  Oh, and of course Brynlee wanted in on the action!

You know Carson's photo shoot wouldn't be complete without a few Karate poses...man, I need to put him in a Karate class or something!

Lincoln's first bath

Today we gave Lincoln his first bath!  He did okay, but wasn't too sure about it.  He cried for some of it and was quiet for some of it.  Once he was all wrapped up in his towel he was warm...and happy!!

Sweet Baby Lincoln

Jen came over a few days ago to take some pictures of Lincoln.  He was exactly one week old.  She had great ideas of just how to pose Lincoln so he looked so sweet.  She sent me this picture yesterday...isn't it perfect?  I can't wait to see more!

We've loved having my parents here this week.  They have been playing non-stop with my kiddos, which has been such a big help!  My dad has also taken lots of pictures of the kids.  I'll post those soon.  Here are a few things we've learned about our little Lincoln since he joined our family a week ago.

-He hates diaper changes.  But, who wouldn't...it's COLD!!

-His cord thingie fell off today, so now we can give him his first real bath.

-He has a little newborn rash that just won't go away....hopefully soon!

-He LOVES to be held.

-He does not like to lay flat.  Not on the floor or in his bed.

-He doesn't like to sleep in his bed, but will sleep perfectly well in your arms.

-He can go several hours in between feedings.

-He has two older siblings that love to hold him and kiss him.

-He is SUPER CUTE and loves to cuddle with mom....and she loves it too!
