Who Knew!

How do you wear your bobby pins?  Do you have the straight side up or the bumpy side up?  I ALWAYS thought that you were suppose to wear them with the straight side up...and that's how I wore them forever!  Don't you want the pretty straight side to show?  But, I recently learned that apparently you are suppose to wear them with the bumpy side up.  That just seems so weird to me...is that really true?  How do you wear your bobby pins,
inquiring minds want to know!

I have always worn them with the bumpy side up because they are easier to slip in with the straight side down-maybe because it is longer. How do you put them in with the straight side up without messing up your hair?

I wear them ALL the time (like a million times a week) and I didn't even realize that they were supposed to be worn a certain way. For that matter I never even paid attention that they had bumps on one side and not the other. I just shove them into my head. Maybe that's why my memory is so loopy these days. :)

I always wear them bumpy side up. I just figured they would be easier to put in that way. But it probably doesn't really matter because isn't the point of bobby pins to not be able to see them?

I've always worn them bumpy side up so the bumpy side wouldn't be bumby against your head.

bumpy side up for me. but there are some that are straight on both sides and then the ones (that remind me of witches) that are bumpy on both sides. so maybe it doesn't matter!

I always wear them bumpy side down so the little nobby thing at the end doesn't end up sticking out of the side of my head. I always figured there was a right way, but I never thought to check on it. Regardless, I will probably keep on wearing them wrong.

Haha I always thought it was bumpy side up. You're right though, it's probably LOOKS better the other way around. It's just more comfortable having the flat part against your head!
