We're starting off the year right!!! We went on a DATE!!! We got a babysitter...two actually (thanks Kelsie and Michelle), and went to lunch and a movie. It was soo great to go on a date...that's one of our goals...to go on more dates! We've made lots of goals for this year, we'll see how we do.
On a different note. We've been working the last few nights on getting the kids sleeping in the same room at night. It has been rough at times, but overall I've been very impressed with kids ability to adjust to new things. Carson has only yelled out a few times "Daddy...get baby sister's binky!". Other than that, he has been really good going to sleep with her in there...even when she's screaming. Here's hoping that this will work, we really need to get her in her own crib at night.

Hang in there. I'm (almost) in the same boat with you...
you guys are such beginners. you know they make duct tape for these situations? ;-)
i just want to state that we have never duct taped our children!
kids adjust really well to things. i'm sure they won't have any problems, it just take a couple weeks. usually the harder part is moving up to a big bed, and carson mastered that with no problem!
Hey you overcame Bryn not sleeping at night, this too will pass. Maybe I should listen to my own advice. The kids will eventually love sharing a room with each other.
I'm so glad you find our site and now I can see yours and see how your family is doing. You have a beautiful family and seem so be having so much fun. Keep up the dating!
I hope you don't mind if I attach your site to ours-its so much fun finding old friends-I'd love to show your blog to Sarah, she'd love to see it!
Good luck with the new sleeping arrangement!! Happy new year!!
We had three in one room for a whole year. It worked out fine. It worked out great, when we were putting Miles into a real bed, he had seen Taylor do it and wanted to be in a big bed too.
