Kiss me I'm Irish...

....or not (but Dan, you can still kiss me). We had a great St. Patty's Day yesterday! Carson had fun festivities at preschool (thanks to Mary) complete with talking about leprechauns and eating green frosted cupcakes. Then 4 of us moms ventured over to Chic-Fil-A for a fun lunch date with all 10 of our children...it went remarkably well. Well, besides the 2 inch bone Carson found in his chicken nugget. When I saw him gnawing on it he said "I thought it was a chicken wing". I wasn't the best complainer at the restaurant (b/c I was laughing b/c the lady that refilled my drink told me to take my top off, she met lid of the drink, but she kept saying "take your top off" and i couldn't help but giggle, how long can you go on writing in parenthesis anyway, is there some rule in the English language about it?), so I wrote a little email when I got home to the management about it. Anyway, it was a great time with awesome friends. Then later that night we had our St. Patrick's Day dinner. We had green jello and hamburger pie with green beans in it and i also turned the mashed potatoes green. They pretty much looked like green play dough, but tasted fine.
Later that evening, my friend Mary Jean and I went to a get together for BYU College of Nursing Alum in the area b/c the Dean was in town for a meeting. It was a lot of fun to meet other BYU nursing alumni and see what everyone was up to. It was also fun to see this woman's very large, very nice, easily a million dollar home! At the end of the evening the woman who's home it was asked me if I knew a Wanda Loveridge. I said "yes, that's my mother in law!". She said that they graduated from BYU nursing together in the 60's. It's always a small world in the Mormon world! It was a really fun evening!

(Sounds like a fun St. Patrick's Day, Mrs. McLoveridge.)

As for Chick-fil-a, I find their food and friendly service to be above average, though a chicken bone in the nuggets is an unfortunate event.
