Happy Happy Birthday!

What a great birthday! I was hoping to have my baby on my birthday, but no luck! I had a great day anyway. Carson was especially cute (except at playgroup when he was especially NOT cute) and he was even nice enough to take a nice long nap on my birthday. That's something that he doesn't always do lately. After our play group, we all went to Chipotle...yum! Thanks Irene for buying me lunch! And later, once Dan got home, we went shopping at "Baby's R Us" looking for a double stroller and then to dinner at "Friendly's". Speaking of double strollers....does anyone have any recommendations?? Anyway, thanks to everyone who called and stopped by with treats...you are the best! It was a fabulous birthday and now I'm another year older :)

We have a double wide stroller. It's not much wider than I am....but I'm a "fat man in a little coat." I've pushed it through the crowded farmers market with out tooooo much difficulty. If I had to buy a new one, I would consider the front to back style. the side by side does fit in all the door ways so that's good.

Sincerely,

You know I love my double jogger. We also have a double jeep umbrella stroller that we keep in the car for using at the mall or wherever since it it smaller to keep in there. I think the tandem ones look awkward to push and steer, but I've never used one so I am not a good source on that.

I love my double stroller. It is a instep jogging stroller. It's really easy to push. I would buy one with the swivel wheel because it makes turning a lot easier but either way it is easier to push than the regular double strollers. It is wider but I haven't had too many problems getting it around in the mall.

I have the Joovy one that is like the sit and stand and I love it. I love that Evan can stand on the back or sit if he wants. He can also easily climb on and off of it. I also have a Jeep double umbrella and love that one when we need something a bit more compact. I would go with the Joovy again if given the choice. It is great! http://www.strollandgo.com/Joovy-Caboose-Stroller-in-Orange_p_0-237.html
Here is a link to what I am talking about!

i need one of the sit and stand strollers that lets me put 2 kids in the sit part and have a 3rd stand. has anyone heard of those? i might have to invent one!

my advice is to test push the double strollers because they feel a little awkward compared to a single stroller. they are great, they just all have a little bit different feel to them.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY! As for the strollers, they're basically our cars here in New York. I'm not to the double stage yet, but a lot of my friends love the Phil and Teds. http://www.philandteds.com/nz/sportdouble_07_1.htm
And I think they just switched to aluminum frames, so this new generation is supposed to be the most lightweight. You might also want to conside a buggy board: http://www.regallager.com/products/la/buggyboard.aspx
Good luck!

Happy happy birthday!!! I think we have the same birthday! Growing up did you always get school clothes for your birthday too?!! :)

I have a Phil and Teds stroller - the kind with the double attachment at the back and have loved it. But that Joovy one looks really cool too. Good luck with the stroller buying!
