Happy 4th!

We had a great 4th of July! We started the day off with our ward's annual 4th of July Breakfast. It was yummy and lots of fun! Carson had a great time on the playground and running around in the dirt. Later in the afternoon I made the traditional "flag" cake with blueberries and strawberries used for the stars and stripes. After nap time, we drove yet again to VA to visit my friend from nursing school, Hannah, and her family. We had a yummy BBQ and enjoyed time talking. On the way home Carson and I could see fireworks going off all around outside. Carson really liked them and kept pointing out the different colors. He would say "fireworks...POP!". It was a great day..........HAPPY 4TH OF JULY!

We had a good 4th of July as well. I'll try to get those pic's posted asap. It was the first time my two youngest kids have ever seen fireworks. the sound was loud at one point scared both of them but they were fine and loved seeing them. Our family just got together had a bbq and then went to a local park to watch fire works.

I haven't had time to visit my friend's blogs in awhile. I wanted to tell you 1st of all, that having your own two or three children is completely different than babysitting other's kids! Sure there will be an adjustment from 1 to 2, but you will get the hang of it soon. You are one of the most positive people I know, so I'm sure you'll go through it very smoothly!

Also, I know what it's like to not have a husband home to help (Kev's never gone out of town for that long but since January, he's had a job that only allows him a small amount of time with us every week.) All I can say is the less you think about you being the only one with Carson and the more you focus on doing fun things with him, the better it will be!

As for your sister and her family, I will be praying! Also, there is that Robinhood site that Kristine knows about where you make a wish and someone wins money.

Thanks again for that hilarious e-card!! You don't know how much it meant!!!

how far do you live from VA.? How nice that you are able to spend so much time with your friends. I am sure it is a huge support while Dan is gone.

And yeah about earning money you can post a wish like Annette said on this Robinhood fund. If you want more info on it email me at kristine@crashutah.com I hope Katherine's baby is doing better.
